“Designer at the end of” is a collective project that begins with a familiar yet rarely answered question: what is design, after all? It explores the tensions and contradictions shaping contemporary Communication Design.
We question the proliferation of categories, the pressure to specialize, precariousness, and other interconnected issues. This website embodies this approach, acting as a collective memory where projects converge — the Super Brain.
It presents a techno-futuristic, open-source vision where knowledge is never lost and creation is collaborative: design as the human practice of the future.
This website was built to showcase the final projects of the Communication Design VI Class of 2025 from the Bachelor's Degree in Communication Design, at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon (FBAUL).
